One of the first questions from our clients is, since we’re going to install the wallpaper, if we can replace their light fixtures/sconces for a new one and the answer is always “no” because it isn’t within the jobs we do. If they’re in good conditions, we can remove and install them back again.
If by any chance, they have caulking around them, DO NOT INSIST, we aren’t going to even touch them! 🙅🏻♀️
Although it’s true that it’s better to install the wallpaper below the base/canopy of the light fixtures, you have no idea how many “tricks” we see every day that have to do with this, “tricks” that we often understand that the electricians must do but we aren’t able to keep them or prevent them from being removed when we install them back again.
If there was a professional installation, we can remove it and then install it back again after placing the wallpaper but if not, it’s very likely that we wont’t remove them. We’ll work around them. The trimming job will be as clean and precise as possible and you don’t even notice any cut.
The same situation happens with blinds and shades.
We work with a good handyman and electrician if you need it. His name is Max and this is his Instagram @lucramtech and phone number +14693353122 📱
